Registration Opens for Washington Adventist Camp Meeting
Washington Adventist Camp Meeting is a 10-day religious convention of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in western Washington. Religious training is provided for people of all ages from infants to teenagers to young adults to parents to senior citizens. Camp Meeting convenes June 14-23, 2012, on the campus of Auburn Adventist Academy. The theme this year is "Holy Spirit Shine On Us."
Participants typically “camp” or reside in motor homes, trailers, tents, or dormitory rooms, or commute from their homes. Make your on-site accommodation arrangements now by registering for camp meeting. »Registration opens March 1, 2012.

Our "Technology in Worship" webinars are targeted for pastors and media teams and features the big picture of media ministry, audio, video projection, video capture, lighting, presentation resources, streaming/podcasting and websites.The next session is April 16 at 2 pm (Pacific) on "Preaching Resources" for pastors in person and followed by a webinar (date/time to be announced). Students Continue Learning on Bad Weather Days
Washington Conference educators began a conversation several months ago about how to better handle inclement weather days without adding additional learning days to the school calendar. The multi-phase winter storm in mid-January 2012 allowed schools to implement their first e-learning, “It’s Bad Out There” (iBOT), winter packets or other snow day curriculum options. Students turned in the assignments on the next official school day to receive attendance and academic credit. »Read about how students continued learning on bad weather days.
Washington Conference Adjusts Management Style
Washington Conference is adopting a new management style to better serve a growing constituency of 22,100 members. This new approach adds a vice president position for church growth, evangelism and ministerial.
